For sellers

Sell with confidence.
Get paid without drama.

The buyer's payment is locked in before you ship. No chargebacks. No "I changed my mind." No payment that reverses 60 days later. You get paid — every single time.

Your protection

Four things that change when you sell with EscrowApp.

How EscrowApp protects sellers: The buyer's payment is locked in Stripe escrow before you ship — so you know the money exists. Once confirmed or after the inspection window closes, funds are released and cannot be reversed. Chargebacks are structurally impossible after escrow release. Sellers pay $1.99 flat per transaction (free for Batch 1 founding members).
💰

You get paid. Period.

Once the buyer pays into escrow, the money is there. It releases to you when they confirm receipt — or when the inspection period expires, whichever comes first. The buyer cannot reverse it with a chargeback after the fact.

📝

Your declarations are the contract

When you fill in the 6 product characteristics, the buyer explicitly accepts them before paying. If they later claim "it was different," the dispute is evaluated against what was agreed — not against whatever they feel like saying weeks later.

⚖️

The dispute system protects honest sellers

Our scoring system rewards sellers who describe accurately and act in good faith. If you described the item correctly and have packing photos and tracking proof, you win. Every time.

Your reputation becomes a selling asset

A verified track record of completed transactions, on-time shipping, and honest descriptions makes you more attractive to buyers. It can eventually unlock lower commission rates and priority support.

Your flow

From listing to payout — under 10 minutes of your time.

01

Create the transaction (3 minutes)

Paste your existing listing URL. Select the category. Fill in 6 product characteristics (condition, warranty, packaging, functionality, visual state, accessories). Add up to 4 custom fields and a description. Set the price and inspection period.

02

Share the link with the buyer

You get a unique transaction link. Send it via DM, text, email — however you normally communicate. The buyer reviews your declarations and pays through the link.

03

Wait for "Funds Secured" before shipping

This is the most important rule. Do not ship until the dashboard shows the payment is locked in escrow. Only then is your protection active.

04

Ship with proof

Insure the package with your carrier. Photograph the sealed package with the label visible. Upload the tracking number to the platform before the first carrier scan. All required — all evidence in your favor if a dispute opens.

05

Get paid on confirmation

When the buyer confirms receipt, funds release to your account instantly. If the inspection period expires without action — same result. You get the full agreed price. No fees come out of your end.

Shipping rules

Non-negotiable. For your protection too.

Every shipment on EscrowApp must follow these four rules. If a package goes missing or arrives damaged and you skipped any of them, you cover the loss — not EscrowApp, not the buyer.

These rules also protect you: they're the evidence that gets funds released on time, even if the buyer becomes unresponsive after delivery.

01

Insure the package

With the carrier (USPS, FedEx, UPS) for the full transaction amount before drop-off. No insurance = no protection if it's lost or damaged.

02

Photograph the sealed package

With the shipping label clearly visible. Upload the photo to the transaction before drop-off. This is your proof that the item was packaged correctly.

03

Upload tracking before the first scan

Enter the tracking number in EscrowApp before the carrier's first scan event. The buyer can track the shipment — and so can dispute resolution if needed.

04

Use a tracked + insured carrier

No "envelope mail" or untracked services for any deal. USPS, FedEx, UPS, or equivalent with full tracking and insurance capability.

Your payout

You keep the agreed price. Just $1.99 to publish.

The buyer pays the escrow percentage on top of what you charge. You pay $1.99 to create the transaction — that's your only deduction.

Example: $500 sale

Your listed price

$500.00

Buyer pays: escrow fee (4.2%)

Buyer's cost

+$21.00

Flat fee to create the transaction

−$1.99

You net $498.01

Buyer pays total: $521 · You net: $498.01

Use cases

Perfect for sellers who...

📱

Sell used electronics

iPhones, laptops, gaming consoles — the category with the highest fraud risk. EscrowApp's contract makes every characteristic binding.

👗

Sell clothing and accessories

Brand, condition, authenticity, size — all declared and accepted. No "it didn't look like the photo" disputes.

🚗

Sell vehicles privately

Mileage, condition, accident history, title status. The personal delivery flow was built for exactly this.

🛠️

Sell on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist

You keep your existing listings. EscrowApp plugs in as the payment protection layer — no new platform to learn.

🔄

Have been hit by chargebacks

PayPal or credit card chargebacks can reverse payments months later. EscrowApp's structure prevents this entirely.

📈

Want to build a verified seller reputation

A documented, verifiable track record makes every next sale easier — and commands better prices.
